Promoting thermoelectric technology to mitigate global climate change
Websites and Proceedings information for past International Conferences on Thermoelectrics are summarized below, if available.
The websites are static (i.e. not interactive) archives of past ICT websites. Some pages and links are broken.
Since ICT2008, conference proceedings have been published as special issues of the Journal of Electronic Materials (JEM). Indivdual papers may be obtained online via the link(s) in the table.
Prior to ICT2008 conference proceedings publication was arranged by the individual conference organizers. Copies of proceedings, if still available at all, should be obtained by contacting the respective conference organizer directly.
Conference Proceedings and Short Course Ordering Information
The International Conference on Thermoelectrics has been held in many locations since 1976. Most recent proceedings are available from IEEE (or see below for contact info). Older proceedings were often published by the conference organizers themselves and proceedings, if available, might be obtained by directly contacting the individual organizations listed below.
A major collection of over 100 books/proceedings, etc including a number of old ICT, MRS, ASM proceeding materials and books, as well as a whole variety of science/physics books are available at no cost to any organization, University, Institute or individual willing to pay shipping cost.
The 2016 International Conference on Thermoelectrics, ICT2016, held last year in Wuhan, China set records for both the total number of attendees (819) and the total number or papers presented (621) at an ICT.
The 1993 Short Course on Thermoelectrics, SCT-93, was organized by Prof. K. I. Uemura on November 8, 1993 in Yokohama, Japan as part of the 1993 International Conference on Thermoelectrics.
These Lectures provide a snapshot of thermoelectric state-of-the-art circa 1993, when modern-era concepts such as "quantum wells" and "quantum wires" were just being introduced. Much of the material remains relevant and of interest today.
An updated list of all International Conferences on Thermoelectics is now available online here. Date, location, organizer name, website, number of attendees and papers are summarized for all of the thermoelectric conferences back to the first one held in 1976.
Since ICT2008, conference proceedings have been published as special issues of the Journal of Electronic Materials (JEM). Indivdual papers may be obtained online via the link(s) in the online table.
The ICT2010 (Shanghai) organizing committee has some surplus Proceedings of ICT2010 which are available for $105. If you are interested in obtaining a copy, please contact the committee with following email account: highzt@yahoo.com.
