Promoting thermoelectric technology to mitigate global climate change
The ITS Postdoctroal Scholar in Thermoelectrics Award was initiated in 2018. The award carries a cash prize, honorary membership in the ITS, and a Descriptive Certificate presented at the annual ICT. The award shall normally be bestowed upon a single recipient
The International Thermoelectric Society Board of Directors is pleased to announce that due to their excellence, Jun Mao, of University of Houston, USA, and Jiawei Zhang, of Aarhus University, Denmark have been selected to be the dual recipients of the 2020 ITS Postdoctoral Scholar in Thermoelectrics Award, for excellence in research in thermoelectricity by a postdoctor.
The winners of these awards will be honored at the Conference Banquet of the 2021 International Conference on Thermoelectrics in Krakow, Poland.
The International Thermoelectric Society (ITS) announces the ITS Postdoctoral Scholar in Thermoelectrics Award to recognize outstanding achievement in scholarship in the field of thermoelectricity. The award carries a cash prize of two thousand US dollars ($2000), honorary membership in the ITS, and a Descriptive Certificate that will be presented at the 38th International Conference on Thermoelectrics (ICT 2019), in Gyeongju, South Korea.
The award shall normally be bestowed upon a single recipient.
The ITS Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Gangjian Tan (Kanatzidis group, Northwestern University) and Guodong Li (Snyder group, Northwestern University) have been selected as co-winners of the 2018 Postdoctoral Scholar in Thermoelectrics Award. The award recognizes outstanding achievement in scholarship in the field of thermoelectricity and is sponsored by ITS.
The winners will be honored at the conference banquet of the 2018 International Conference on Thermoelectrics in Caen, France on July 4.
