Promoting thermoelectric technology to mitigate global climate change
The International Thermoelectric Society is pleased to announce that Amerigon, makers of thermoelectric cooled car seats will be a co-sponsor for the ITS young investigator award beginning at ICT 2011 in Traverse City Michigan. The award recognizes a young scientist for his/her contributions in the field of thermoelectricity with a gift of $2000 and the awardee will present a distinguished lecture at ICT 2011 in Traverse City Michigan.

The detailed oral portion of the program has been posted at www.ict2011.its.org/program. A list of poster presentations will be added shortly. If you are giving an oral presentation at the conference please check the schedule carefully for the time of your talk. Also, please check back frequently as the organizing committee reserves the right to make changes to the schedule as necessary.
ICT 2011 is fast approaching! Now is the time to register for the conference and make travel arrangements. The detailed program is being developed and abstract assignments (oral/poster) will be posted shortly.
Two International Thermoelectric Society (ITS) Board Director positions will be opened for election at the 30th International Conference on Thermoelectrics, to be held in Traverse City, Michigan, USA, July 17th-21st, 2011.
Take advantage of lower registrations rates. The deadline for early registration for the conference is May 1, 2011. Also, Traverse City is very busy in the summer so you are urged to make your plans for travel and accomodation as soon as possible.
