Dear Colleagues,
We are delighted to announce the symposium titled "Symposium EN14—Thermoelectric Energy Conversion (TEC)—Complex Materials and Novel Theoretical Methods" to be held at the upcoming 2019 Materials Research Society Fall Meeting.
As you know, MRS Fall meeting is a major venue for materials scientists and engineers from academia, industry, and national labs to engage in a weekend long discussions in the form of talks, poster presentations and tutorials. Besides our symposium sessions, we also plan to have joint sessions with another symposium "EN13—Flexible and Miniaturized Thermoelectric Devices Based on Organic Semiconductors and Hybrid Materials" in the same meeting.
We have assembled an impressive list of invited speakers to present their research: K. Biswas (JNCASR, India), G. Chen (MIT, USA), C. Felser (MPI, Germany), J-P. Fleurial (JPL, USA), K. C. Fong (BBN Raytheon, USA), J. Heremans (OSU, USA), K. Hippalgaonkar (IMRE, Singapore), S. Kauzlarich (UCD, USA), B. Kozinsky (Harvard, USA), G. Madsen (TU Wien, Austria), Z. Ren (University of Houston, USA), G. Schierning (Leibniz Institute, Dresden, Germany), L. Shi (UT Austin, USA), J. Snyder (Northwestern, USA), V. Stevanovic (Colorado School of Mines, USA), E. Toberer (Colorado School of Mines, USA), C. Wan (Tsinghua, China), H-j. Wu (NTU, Taiwan)
We invite you to submit abstracts (Deadline: June 13, 2019, 11:59 pm (ET)) to the meeting and continue your support to the thermoelectrics and thermal community through your participation. Please feel free to forward this call for papers to anyone who might be interested in our symposium. The call for papers and the abstract submission website can be accessed at the following link:
