Applications are invited for a postdoctoral researcher to join a project at the forefront of research in thermoelectric materials for waste-heat recovery. The overarching aim of this project, funded by the Leverhulme Trust, is to transform understanding of thermal conduction in copper-containing chalcogenides with high thermoelectric performance. The project seeks to investigate the structure and properties of copper-containing minerals to understand the relationship between copper bonding, ultralow thermal conduction and thermoelectric performance.
