Aims
All scientists and engineers working in the field of thermoelectricity are invited to attend ECT2008 and submit their latest results. The Conference will feature oral and poster presentations. Invited speakers will focus attention on trends in areas of interest to the Conference. On the last afternoon, we intend to organize a session dedicated to summarizing the conference by two talks on "Materials" and on "Applications".
Scope
The topics cover a wide range of scientific researches which span from basic science to various applications of thermoelectricity:
Acceptance of abstracts
Only abstract dealing with thermoelectricity will be accepted. Preference for oral or poster presentation should be provided by the corresponding author. Post deadline abstracts will be accepted as posters. Only one paper per registered participant will be accepted. As a tradition to the ECT series of Conferences, the authors of accepted abstract will be offered publications of their work in the Conference proceedings (hard copy and online) without further reviewing. Authors should send their papers before June 14th, 2008. Late papers will only be available online.
Working language
The working language of the conference is English, which is used for all printed materials, presentations and discussions.

Receipt of one page abstract: March 15th, 2008 postponed to March 31st, 2008
Notification of acceptance: April 12th, 2008
Provisional program available: End of April, 2008
Receipt of contributed and invited papers: June 14th, 2008
