By Air
Traverse City's Cherry Capital Airport (TVC) is just 10 minutes from the Resort. Connections worldwide are avaiable through Detroit, Chicago, New York, and Minneapolis. The Resort's Airport Shuttle service is provided for arriving guests upon request. Driving Directions:
From Detroit and Cleveland:
Take I-75 north through Saginaw, until you reach M-72. Go west on M-72 at the Grayling exit, then approx. 30-35 miles through Kalkaska into Acme. Go north on US-31 about 1/2 mile. The Resort will be on the east (rt.) side of the road.
From Lansing:
Take route 127 north to exit 254 this exit will turn into M-72. Go west on M-72 approx. 35-40 miles. Go north on US-31 about 1/2 mile. Resort will be on the east (rt.) side of the road.
From Chicago and Milwaukee:
Take I-94 east through Indiana into Michigan. Exit on I-196 (north of Benton Harbor/St. Joseph) to Grand Rapids. Go north on US-131. Just south of Cadillac you will encounter a construction detour that will add about 10 minutes to your travel time. Follow the detour signs from US-131 to M-55 to M-66 to M-72 in Kalkaska. Go west on M-72 approx. 15 miles to Acme. Go north on US-31 about 1/2 mile. The Resort will be on the east (rt.) side of the road.
From Indianapolis:
Take US-31 north to 80/90. Go east on 80/90 to US-131. Go north on US-131. Just south of Cadillac you will encounter a construction detour that will add about 10 minutes to your travel time. Follow the detour signs from US-131 to M-55 to M-66 to M-72 in Kalkaska. Go west on M-72 approx. 15 miles. Go north on US-31 about 1/2 mile. Resort will be on the east (rt.) side of the road.
From Cherry Capital Airport (TVC):
As you exit the airport turn left on South Airport Road and continue until it comes to an end at 3 Mile Road. Turn left on 3 Mile Road to the light at US-31. Turn right on US-31 and go north approximately 10 minutes to the intersection of US-31 and M-72. Continue north through the light on US-31 about 1/2 mile. The Resort will be on the east (rt.) side of the road. The Resort offers Airport Shuttle service to and from Cherry Capital Airport for guests who choose to fly-in.
From Ontario, Canada
There are three recommended routes to cross from Ontario into Michigan.
1. Detroit-Windsor Tunnel - Windsor, ON / Detroit, MI
Due to road construction near the Ambassador Bridge through 2009, we recommend using the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel. Take Highway 401 west to Dougall Avenue, and follow the signs through Windsor to Tunnel to U.S.A. Go through the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel and follow the signs to I-375, then to I-75 north. Take I-75 north approximately 200 miles / 322 kilometers until you reach M-72 at Grayling. Go west on M-72 at the Grayling exit, then approximately 30-35 miles / 48-56 kilometers through Kalkaska into Acme. Go north on US-31 about 1/2 mile / .8 kilometers. The Resort will be on the east (right) side of the highway.
2. Blue Water Bridge - Sarnia, ON / Port Huron, MI
Take Highway 402 west into Sarnia. Stay on 402 and follow the signs to the Blue Water Bridge. The Blue Water Bridge becomes I-69 in Michigan. Stay on I-69 West to I-75 north. Take I-75 north approximately 130 miles / 209 kilometers until you reach M-72 at Grayling. Go west on M-72 at the Grayling exit, then approximately 30-35 miles / 48-56 kilometers through Kalkaska into Acme. Go north on US-31 about 1/2 mile / .8 kilometers. The Resort will be on the east (right) side of the highway.
3. International Bridge - Sault Ste. Marie, ON / Sault Ste. Marie, MI
Take Highway 17 into Sault Ste. Marie to Highway 17B and follow the signs to the International Bridge. The International Bridge becomes I-75 in Michigan. Stay on I-75 south through St. Ignace, then across the Mackinac Bridge. Stay on I-75 south from Mackinaw City approximately 4 miles / 6 kilometers to the Petoskey exit (Exit 336) to take US-31 south toward Traverse City and the Resort. The Resort is approximately 58 miles / 93 kilometers south of Petoskey in Acme. The Resort will be on the east (left) side of the highway.
