2015 Annual Outstanding Achievement in Thermoelectrics Award

The International Thermoelectric Society decided to select Prof. Gerald D. Mahan as the recipient of the 2015 ITS Award for Outstanding Achievement in Thermoelectrics. This award is meant to recognize the outstanding achievements of a senior scientist for their contributions to the field of thermoelectricity. Previous winners of this prestigious award are Dr. Glen Slack, Professor H. Julian Goldsmid, Professor Millie Dresselhaus, and Professor Mercouri Kanatzidis.

2015 Annual Young Investigator Award

The International Thermoelectric Society (ITS) and the ITS Board of Directors have selected Dr. Sabah Bux as the recipient of the 2015 ITS Young Investigator Award. This award is meant to recognize a young researcher who has exhibited a record of excellent original work and significant results in the field of thermoelectrics or thermoelectric materials.

2015 ITS Poster Award

The International Thermoelectric Society (ITS) is pleased to announce the 2015 ITS Poster Awards. The awards are sponsored by the International Thermoelectrics Society (ITS) and will be presented at the banquet of the ICT 2015 in Dresden.

2015 ECT Poster Award

The European Thermoelectric Society together with the German Thermoelectric Society and the Italian Thermoelectric Society announces the 2015 ECT Poster Award.
This award will be given to 3 early stage researchers who present significant results of thermoelectric related research in a clear and exciting manner. The award includes a 250,00 Euro prize.

Best Paper Award

The International Thermoelectric Society (ITS) is pleased to announce the 2015 ITS Best Paper Awards. The awards are sponsored by the International Thermoelectrics Society (ITS) and will be presented at the banquet of the ICT 2015 in Dresden.

Wiley-VCH Poster Prize

A poster prize is generously sponsored by Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA along with a 250,00 Euro book voucher.

2015 Annual Goldsmid Award & Graduate Student Awards

The International Thermoelectric Society is proud to announce that Mr. Lipeng Hu, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Zhejiang University, China, has been selected as the recipient of the 2015 ITS Goldsmid Award. The award is generously sponsored in part by Marlow Industries and includes a $1000.00 cash prize.

The following three individuals were runners-up in the Goldsmid Award competition and have been selected as 2015 ITS Graduate Student Award winners, and will receive $500.00 each: Yinglu Tang (California Institute of Technology, USA); Ying He (Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, China); and Patricia Aranguren (Public University of Navarre, Spain).

These awards will be presented to the winners at ICT 2015 in Dresden, Germany.
