A1: Low temperature materials
The temperature dependencies of the electric conductivity, the Hall and the Seebeck coefficients of spark plasma sintered nanostructured thermoelectric material based on Bi-Sb-Te solid solution were measured in the range of 15-300K for the set of samples sintered at different temperatures from 300oC to 550oC. These data allowed estimating the mean free path of the holes. The analysis of transport coefficients together with the information on the size and the internal structure of the nanocrystalline grains showed the important role of the defects in hole scattering that is more intensive for samples obtained at lower sintering temperatures. The possible nature of the defects is discussed based on the transport and structural data.
