Recently, the development of the thermoelectric module is advanced. The measurement of the power generation and the power generating efficiency for temperatures nearly practical condition is demanded. The power generating efficiency is evaluated by measurement results of the power generation and the penetrated heat flow. ULVAC-RIKO Inc. has been developing to evaluate the power generation and the power generating efficiency in thermoelectric module (PEM and miniPEM). For PEM, the penetrated heat flow is evaluated by temperature gradient method, the sample size is above 20 mm square. On the other hand, for miniPEM, the penetrated heat flow is evaluated by flow calorimeter, the sample size is below 10 mm square. In this presentation, we explain the application range of PEM and miniPEM in detail, and introduce measurement results by PEM and miniPEM.
