To order to enhance ZT of the bulk thermoelectric materials, a decreasing thermal conductivity is always desired. Currently measurement uncertainty of thermal conductivity is higher than these of seebeck coefficient and electrical conductivity. One major reason is the effect of contact resistance. To improve the above problem, non-contact thermal conductivity measurement method-laser flash method will be adopted to do it. However, there are many data processing techniques to evaluate the thermal diffusivity for laser flash method. The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference of various mathematical models to serve as the subsequent selection of the mathematical models for different thermoelectric materials.
