The 2014 International Conference on Thermoelectrics will be held on July 6-10, 2014 in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. ICT2014 will cover all aspects of thermoelectrics, thermoelectric materials and applications. This is an annual conference that rotates between Europe, Asia and the Americas. The ICT2013 conference was held in Kobe, Japan.

The proceedings submission deadline has been extended until July 27, 2014.

Information for Poster Presenters: Poster sessions are on Tuesday and Wednesday. All posters can be displayed throughout the conference and are presented on both days. The poster boards can accomodate posters up to 4'x4' (120 cm square) in size.

Abstract submission is now closed: The abstract page is here. All presenters, including invited, oral and poster presenters, are additionally invited to submit a proceedings paper. Proceedings will be refereed and accepted papers will be published in the Journal of Electronic Materials. Please check the program carefully. Some session assignments have changed.

Registration is open. The registration fee is $850 (with a reduced fee of $500 for students). Register online for the lowest fees. Registration includes participation in the scientific program, all breaks, the social program, the conference banquet, lunches during the conference and membership in the International Thermoelectrics Society.

MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION FOR THE PROCEEDINGS IS NOW AVAILABLE: Information for contributors and deadlines are on the proceedings and manuscript information page. Papers must be presented at the conference in order to be eligible for the proceedings.

The format will be similar to previous years. On-site check in and registration will be on Sunday, July 6 and the scientific program will start on July 7. The conference will end on Thursday, July 10. Details will be posted at this site.

Venue:

ICT2014 will be held at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel, 611 Commerce Street, Nashville, Tennessee. This is a downtown hotel with many nearby options for dinning and entertainment. All sessions will be held in the hotel. Information about lodging for the conference and a reservations link is on the lodging page.

Nashville is the capital of the state of Tennessee. The city is located on the Cumberland River in the central part of the state. It is a center for health care and is home to a large number of colleges and universities, including Vanderbilt University. It is famous for music, earning it the nickname "Music City USA". We hope that everyone will have an enjoyable stay in Nashville.

Nashville is located on Interstates I-24, I-40 and I-65. The city is readily reached via air using Nashville International Airport or by car. There are convenient connections from the airport to downtown via taxi or shuttle. One option is the airport shuttle managed by Jarmon which drops off at various downtown hotels.
