Theresults of computer studying mechanical stresses originating in thermoelectriccooling modules under cyclic conditions have been presented. Using ultrasonicinvestigation method the elastic constant tensor of material based on Bi2Te3 , as well as the boundaries of elastic and plastic deformation inthese materials have been determined. Peculiarities of mechanical deformationdistribution in modules under temperature influences have been determined.Computer design programs aimed at improving cyclic stability have been created. The methods for cyclic tests of modules have been elaborated. The results oftesting have proved creation of modules of particularly high cyclic stability.
