ICT'99 Sample Abstract Template


Please follow the instructions in this sample and either submit on 8 1/2 by 11 or A4 paper a camera ready hard copy, email an electronic version of your abstract originating from the most common word processors (preferably MS Word) to Wendy Lozano at ict99@its.org, or cut and paste from most common word processors into the online abstract submission form (no longer available). Submissions should be in English.

Abstract Title in Bold Letters*


List the authors A. EHRLICH and J. PAZIK (in upper case) with their affiliations (in both upper and lower case) as you want them to appear in the abstract book. When listing the addresses for two or more authors, numbers should be used as indicators (1, 2, 3, 4,...) next to the authors name, and the corresponding addresses should be listed below.

The abstract should be a single paragraph that describes the content of the paper. The title shown above should be in mixed upper and lower case bold letters as shown above. Separate the title from the list of authors by one line. The author names should be in UPPER CASE as shown above. The author affiliation should be in mixed upper case and lower case letters. For the affiliation use only the organization name, the city, the state or province (if applicable), and the country. The author and affiliation list should be in plain type. Separate the body of the abstract from the author and affiliation list by two blank lines. The abstract should be done in 12 point times or times roman font. (Authors using a typewriter should use 12 point Prestige elite type and follow the same instructions, except that the title does not have to be in bold type.) The support statement should appear in a footnote that is Separated from the body of the abstract by one line. When cutting and pasting the abstract into the website form, include all footnotes with the body of the abstract. The body of the abstract should be no more than 20 lines long. Abstract width is not to exceed 127mm (5 inches). Text should be substituted for symbols, e.g. niobium3-tin instead of Nb3Sn. If the paper has more than ten authors, choose which authors (no more than ten) will be on the sortable author list. Papers with ten or fewer authors should have all authors on the sortable list below. Please list a preference for a poster or oral presentation or list no preference.
