This talk will present results of experiments intended to map out the thermomagnetic transport tensor of single crystals of two elemental metals, holmium and iron. In holmium, we focus on the evolution of transport behavior between the various magnetic phases, including the unusual helical anti-ferromagnetic state. In iron, emphasis has been placed on determining the cause of the unexpectedly large thermopower, which has been previously interpreted as a consequence of magnon drag.  This mechanism can be put to use in high-temperature thermoelectric alloys.  We will report results of the magneto-thermopower, magneto-thermal conductivity, and the Nernst coefficient on single-crystal samples of these elements.
